Essmann Boosts Delivery Efficiency with OntegoGL and NVE Scan

The specialist beverage wholesaler Essmann – a 100% subsidiary of the Radeberger Group – relies on the mobile delivery solution OntegoGL with its entire fleet in northern Germany.

The entire value chain of delivery (quantity changes, return of full goods, delivery note), including return of empties, order processing (time recording), as well as shift logs and downtime recording, is covered by the mobile application OntegoGL. This represents a comprehensive optimization both qualitatively and quantitatively, as the error rate drops manifold while vehicle utilization remains the same or is even higher.

The SAP focus of OntegoGL paid off when selecting a suitable provider for mobile software: All function modules were already available and could be connected conveniently thanks to integrated interfaces.

As early as the end of the shift, the dispatcher and driver evaluate the day's tours using the additional module "Fahrertheke" (Driver's Counter).
